The flexible family support program

Provides a package of flexible respite hours for families who have a child between the age of 0—19 years, with high support needs requiring individual care and support. Families are allocated respite hours based on a needs assessment conducted 6 monthly, to use at their discretion. The care is flexible and can be used both in and out of the home. A respite care coordinator is assigned to develop a care plan with families and then match a suitable respite care worker to the child.

Flexible Family Support Costs:

• no costs incurred to use the program
• activity costs for children covered by parents
