Employment opportunities

Interchange Inner East comprises of an Executive Officer, 2 administrative staff; 1 Program Manager, 5 Program Co-ordinators and one quality and community development officer.

In addition there are approximately 120 Respite Program Support Workers who are employed to provide flexible respite options to families in their own home or through community activities

Interchange Inner East has ongoing opportunities for respite support workers to work a variety of shifts across a range of respite programs.

If you possess a passion for working with children or young people with disabilities, relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience, or you wish to supplement your current study schedule with high quality experience, please contact us.

  • Interchange Inner East covers the cost of your mandatory POLICE CHECK.
  • You will need to undergo a referee check after providing current referee contact details.
  • You will need a Working with Children Check prior to commencing employment at Inner east Interchange (free for volunteers and $77.80 for employees).
